Hey Reader,
Here’s what you need to know for this week… plus some important happenings this week for data-driven marketers:
Does AI prompt engineering have a place in the future job market?
At this point, no one knows. Things are moving so fast with AI that many companies are scrambling to keep up, either by getting highly-paid “AI whisperers” prompt engineers… or by creating software that makes prompting easier for everyone.
For now, we found a guide that lists 4 essential components of an effective prompt that allows AI to give you the output that you want:
It’s a must-read for anyone who wants to leverage AI to create ad copy, outline blog posts or content ideas, generate social media content, and even assist with keyword research for SEO.
This prompt engineering guide has a ton of examples showing you how you can apply them to real-world scenarios in your marketing.
We're doing research on how data-driven marketing is evolving, and we want to know what topics you want to learn and gain new skills on this year.
Would you like to tell us so we can incorporate your preferences and requests into our 2023 (and beyond) plans?
Here's a little incentive - we'll give a $50 coupon to everyone who fills out this survey!
You will be able to redeem this coupon beginning at the end of May or early June.
Amid the shakeup in the PPC world with Twitter's implosion, Google's internal reshuffling, and the incredible growth of TikTok's advertising platform, Meta Ads has remained an ads stalwart that is sure to attract more marketers looking to advertise.
In the first quarter of this year, Meta Ads reach has improved by 26% while costs per ad decreased by 17% compared to a year ago.
Although bounce rate is available in GA4, you now have several other engagement-based metrics at your disposal.
One of the most popular is engagement rate, which can help you see how often users meaningfully interact with your website and mobile app.
If you're using GA4, you may wonder how long it takes to start tracking data. According to Google's official documentation, it can take up to 24-48 hours for your reports and explorations to process the data from your website.
However, you can still use the real-time and debug view reports to ensure that you're collecting data properly.
It's important to note that while it only takes a few minutes to see the data in the debug view and real-time reports, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before analyzing the data. This applies even to mature accounts.
For sensitive data, such as e-commerce, it's best to wait up to 48 hours before analyzing.
That's all for this week!
